What’s on file
This edition contains 62 chapter records across IFC, PHC, MCGC, and NPHC. Our research starts with Berkeley’s university chapter directory, then uses council and chapter websites for context where available.
The latest chapter-source review was November 8, 2026. These are point-in-time listings, not a continuously updated feed. A page being online does not establish that all its information is current.
What the labels mean
University-listed means the organization appeared in the cited Berkeley listing when reviewed. Council-listed means a council source lists it, without a matching university listing confirmed. Neither label guarantees a chapter’s current recognition, eligibility, or standing. Use official Berkeley sources for those decisions.
Missing dates or chapter designations are left unavailable. Numbers beside chapter cards are alphabetical directory positions, never rankings. Counts measure records in this directory, not membership sizes.
Where the sources disagree
The university PHC overview says 13 chapters, while the Fall 2026 directory and Panhellenic chapter page list the same 12 names. This roster follows those matching named lists. Four PHC entries have conflicting fraternity/sorority table labels; they are categorized here as sororities using the council context, with notes on their chapter pages.
The IFC council directory includes eight groups that the university lists as not recognized, and omits two university-listed chapters. We use the university list for this edition and exclude the explicitly not-recognized entries.
An undated Berkeley Clubs MCGC list also differs from the Fall 2026 university roster. It is a cross-check, not a replacement. An omission alone is not treated as proof of inactivity.
Supplied event research
Pasted_content_11.txt adds nine dated 2026 rows as user-supplied claims and 34 undated event traditions. An advertisement is a schedule claim, not independent proof the event occurred. Unknown clock times, locations and source URLs remain unavailable. Multi-day series are not split into invented exact-day events.
The house traditions directory keeps Red Dress Gala’s unresolved 2026 date, Phi Psi’s described Fall 2025 evidence and undated campaign/activity references out of calendar date counts. Zeta Tau Alpha stays explicitly outside the current chapter directory. Inclusion approval is not university or occurrence verification.
Member information
The initial private roster import contained 291 user-supplied records from Pasted_content_09.txt and Pasted_content_10.txt. None has been independently verified. The attachments mix 2026-period claims, undated lists, historical entries and conflicting claims; an import date is not a verification date.
Member profiles preserve the supplied source descriptions and line references and identify the relevant attachment. The supplied attachments contain no usable clickable source citations, so no URL is invented or presented as verification. Reported roles are not asserted to be current offices, and records without a chapter remain unattributed.
Expected graduation years are supplied claims, not confirmation of current enrollment or active chapter membership. The second attachment describes a spreadsheet with individual links, but that spreadsheet and those URLs were not attached. Exact name/chapter overlaps were merged without discarding older source observations.
Personal records are stored server-side, not in public HTML or browser data files. Access requires real account sign-in, an authenticated @berkeley.edu identity email, and confirmation of that matching address. A typed address alone never unlocks a roster. Account access is not proof of enrollment or chapter membership. Seven later major/activity details were supplied in chat and are also attributed as unverified claims; no missing spreadsheet or photo links were invented.
Self-created cards belong to their signed-in account. Imported cards require an operator-approved ownership claim before editing. Later owner-supplied fields remain self-reported, with the original source history intact. House organizer codes authorize schedule tools for one assigned house; they are not roster or card-ownership credentials.
